Our campsite Bijou du Doubs is located in Lays-sur-le-Doubs in the Bresse Bourguignonne, one of the most beautiful areas of the Bourgogne Franche-Comté region, in the heart of a nature reserve (Zone Natura 2000).
It is in a fantastic location directly on the river Doubs with a total of 67 pitches, 55 of which are large and mostly shaded pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents, as well as eight rental accommodations.
Our campsite is open from mid-April to the end of September (opening hours) – a paradise especially for anglers and birdwatchers, but also for families and anyone looking for peace and quiet.
In the 2022 season, a new sanitary building and a new wheelchair-accessible sanitary room have been put into operation.
Our site is strategically located for all those who want to spend their holidays on the Mediterranean Sea or the Atlantic Ocean. We are situated between Dole and Chalon-sur-Saône, about 19km from the A36 motorway (distances between our campsite and the sea/ocean as well as some European cities can be found here). This makes our “jewel” the perfect place to stay on your way to the sea or ocean. But be careful, once you get here you just might stay for two or three nights …
Our site offers 55 mainly shaded pitches of approx. 80-140m2 for caravans, motorhomes and tents. Here you can find pictures of the pitches.
In addition, rental accommodations – six mobile homes and two wooden chalets – are available for your holiday.

Dogs are welcome on our site and also in the rental accommodation. Out of consideration for other camping guests, please always keep your dog on a lead outside your pitch.
A 6x13m swimming pool also awaits you on the site – with free entry, of course:

● for everyone to cool off on hot summer days
For the 2022 season, the pool liner was renewed for even more swimming fun.
